QueryODBC > View Detail (BLOB)

Tip: Use the View Detail button in the results tab to display this window for cells containing text or binary BLOB data.

Fields

Text / Image BLOB

Displays the text or image stored in the currently selected Binary Large Object (BLOB) cell in the results grid. QueryODBC can display images stored in bitmap, icon, metafile, enhanced metafile, JPEG, or GIF file format.

Editing Text BLOB Data

Edit text BLOB data by revising the text in the text BLOB field. Use the update button to update the results grid with your revised data. In the results grid the revised text BLOB data is treated the same as any other edited data. See Editing, Inserting and Deleting Records in the Results Tab for details.

Wrap to Window

Wrap text so that all text is visible within the width of the window (checked), or allow text to flow beyond the boundary of the window width and only wrap text if carriage return exists in text (unchecked). If text flows beyond the boundary of the window width, a horizontal scrollbar will appear.

Buttons

Close

Close this window.

Copy

Copy the currently selected text or image BLOB to the clipboard. If no BLOB text is selected, copy the entire contents of the text BLOB field to the clipboard.

Update

Update the results grid with the revised text BLOB data. This button is only visible and enabled if the currently selected cell contains text BLOB data and you have revised the data.

Clear

Clear the binary BLOB data in the currently selected cell. This button is only visible if the currently selected cell contains binary BLOB data.

Save As

Save the BLOB data to a text file.

Insert

Insert BLOB data from a file.
